Starting in New Austin today folks..

Start off in Tumbleweed and visit the stables to change your horse’s appearance. Changing the tail is the cheapest option at $7.50. I’ll leave it up to you if you think that it’s worth spending that to get 0.1 gold. From here, ride to Solomon’s Folly, just to the South West of Benedict Point. There are two patches of Raspberries just to the west of the barn and another to the south by the railway line. Pick all you need for the challenge then head to Cholla Springs.

There are lots of Collared Peccaries where the words ‘Cholla Springs’ are on the map. There are also some to the west of Mercer Station. They are almost all over the region but these two areas are good ones to check. Kill and skin at least one, or more if you don’t have 5 Items to sell to Gus. Conveniently, he has a stall in this area so pay him a visit and sell him the pelts you just collected.

After selling to Gus, ride to Armadillo and visit the railway station. Check your map and locate Alden, the train clerk. Fast Travel to his location and speak to him and complete the mission he gives you.

Depending where you end up, go to the nearest place you can get a boat. They can be reliably found at Bard’s Crossing and on Flat Iron Lake to the West of Rhodes. Get one and row the distance required. Then it’s just the Free Roam event to finish up for the day.

1 COLLARED PECCARIES SKINNED – Collared Peccaries are native to New Austin. My go to spot is just north of Ridgewood Farm, under ‘Cholla Springs’ on the map

DISTANCE ROWED A BOAT OR CANOE – Find a Rowboat or a Canoe and travel the required distance. The area between the East bank of Flat Iron Lake and the islands is a reliable place to find a boat.

1 HORSE APPEARANCE UPDATED – Head to a stables and change the appearance of your horse by changing the tail or main for example

5 ITEMS SOLD TO GUS – Go to Gus at one of his camps across the map and sell him any items. Pelts, feathers and other animal parts all count towards this. Harriet is gonna be mad at you!

3 PLAYER KILLS IN FREE ROAM EVENTS – Free roam events occur every 45mins. You need to be in a free roam lobby when one is due to start to be invited. Join a PvP focussed event and get 3 kills

5 RASPBERRIES PICKED – My go to place for Raspberries is just to the East of Valentine. There are 6 bushes just outside of town near the train station.

1 TRAIN CLERK MISSIONS COMPLETED – The Train Clerk is one of the strangers who issue free roam missions. He can be found at railway stations. Simply visit him, accept and complete the mission he gives you.
