Starting in New Hanover today folks..

We are mainly at Emerald Ranch and Valentine today folks with a little hunting trip around the Heartlands. Let’s get into it…

Alpine Goats

Alpine Goats are domesticated animals and can be found on farms. Emerald Ranch has a pen with two of them in it. It’s the pen with the hen house. Wait until after dark and rope and use your knife to kill the two goats without being chased off by the law. You can skin them in peace then.

If they aren’t in the pen then either leave and come back, switch sessions or try behind Joe’s Cabin to the North East of Emerald Ranch. There is sometimes a goat out there.

Deer Hunting and Campsite Defences

There is a campsite spawn point to the south of Joe’s Cabin so check if it’s there and defend it if it is. Head over to Valentine and do a little deer hunting on the way if you need the venison meat. Make sure to grab any herbs for seasoning as well if you need to.

There is another campsite at Citadel Rock, hopefully the camp is there and under attack and that will get you your second defence to complete the challenge.

Valentine

Head into Valentine and use the Barber to update your facial appearance. There are campfires at the camp opposite the butcher where you can cook the venison. Feed your horse if you haven’t already done so.

Finishing Off

Invite players to your Posse then head to the Dakota River to start the biggest fish contest. Once that’s finished equip your revolvers and join a Free Roam event. Get the three kills with the revolvers and that will be all seven done for the day.
