Starting in New Hanover today folks..

Starting Valentine for today’s Daily Challenges. We can get the visit done, the 3m jump and the fishing all in and round Valentine before moving on for the rest of the challenges. Let’s get into it…

Valentine

Starting in Valentine, head to the butcher. Visit him then ride your horse to the back of the stables. Position it so that you can climb up the side of the stable to the highest part of the roof and jump onto your horse.

Fishing

Head to the Dakota river for Rock Bass fishing. There is an island in a bend in the river, just to the south west of the word ‘Valentine’ on the map. This is a good spot for rock bass. Use dead eye to pick them out and use cheese for bait. Cattail Pond is another good place to try.

Free Roam Missions

Free Roam missions are given to you by strangers. They are the orange symbols on the map with a person in the middle. Go to three of these people and talk to them to start the missions. One of the Strangers is Sean Macguire. He can be found either near Quakers Cove or in Tall Trees. Complete the mission he gives you and two others to tick this challenge off.

Finishing Off

That leaves us with Opossums and the revolver kills. Possums can be found around Riggs Station or in Tall Trees. Pick some off as you are doing the stranger missions. Then load up those Revolvers and head into a showdown and that will do it for today.

Quick Guides

3 FREE ROAM MISSIONS COMPLETED – Complete 3 free roam missions, such as stranger missions for this one. Dynamic events like rescues/escorts/ambushes do not count.

1 JUMPED ONTO A HORSE FROM 3M HEIGHT – Find a ledge or rooftop that you can climb up to and can also place your horse below. Climb up and jump down, landing on your horse.

3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A REVOLVER IN SHOWDOWNS – Pick your favorite revolver and head into a Showdown series. You’ll need to be in the lobby before the match starts for the kills to count and remember, pistols and revolvers are different!

5 ROCK BASS CAUGHT – Rock bass can be found in most waters across the map that aren’t swamps. They are particularly fond of cheese, but most baits and lures will catch them.

1 SEAN MACQUIRE MISSIONS COMPLETED – Sean Macquire can be found near Quaker’s Cove in the Great Plains or in Tall Trees. Ride to him, accept and complete the mission he gives you.

VIRGINIA OPOSSUMS SKINNED – The Swamps of Lemoyne, Southern Heartlands and around Riggs station are all good spots between dusk and dawn

VISITED A SHOP IN VALENTINE – Simply head over to Valentine and go to one of the shops or butchers. Easy Gold!
