Starting in Lemoyne today folks..
We’re starting in Lagras for today’s challenges. We’re here for Vanilla Flowers and Beef before heading to New Austin. Let’s Get into it…
Vanilla Flowers
Starting off at Lagras Fast Travel Post. There is a Vanilla Flower on the side of the tree just to the north of the post. Then there are several more between the village and the bridge. Head west to the river bank and you will find another. Follow the river up towards the bridge and you will spot the flowers. You SHould Be able to get all five from here.
Beef
Hill Haven Ranch, next to Mattock Pond is the closest place to get beef. Head over there and get beef from the cows in the paddocks. Just be careful of the Bull! There is a fire here you can use to cook and season the beef. There is also sometimes a dog you can photograph. .
Collared Peccaries and Hideouts
Head back to the Fast Travel Post and fast travel to Armadillo. There is another dog here if you still need the photograph. You can find Collared Peccaries in Cholla Springs. There are also several hideouts in New Austin. Try the one at Twin Rocks, or Rattlesnake Hollow. There is another near Jorge’s Gap.
Finishing off
If you haven’t managed to photograph a dog yet then there is one in Tumbleweed. There is also one at Ridgewood Farm or your camp if you have a camp dog. Complete three of the Free Roam Missions and then head into a Showdown with your explosives. That will do it for today…

1 COLLARED PECCARIES SKINNED – Collared Peccaries are native to New Austin. My go to spot is just north of Ridgewood Farm, under ‘Cholla Springs’ on the map
3 COOKED SEASONED PRIME BEEF – Prime Beef can be got from Bison or Cows. Bison can be found in the Great Plains of West Elizabeth or the Heartlands of New Hanover. Cows can be found at several ranches around the states such as the one near Mattock Pond in Scarlet Meadows or Emerald Ranch.
1 DOGS PHOTOGRAPHED – Find a Dog and Photograph it! If you have a camp dog snap a pic of it. If not, Thieves Landing, Tumbleweed and Manzineta Post are all good spots to check.
3 FREE ROAM MISSIONS COMPLETED – Complete 3 free roam missions, such as stranger missions for this one. Dynamic events like rescues/escorts/ambushes do not count.
2 HIDEOUTS CLEARED – Gang hideouts spawn at certain locations around the map. Check out the excellent work of u/thirdlegacy red_dead_online_event_map_ver2/
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH EXPLOSIVES IN SHOWDOWNS – Load into a Showdown and kill players with dynamite. It will only count if you are in the lobby before the match starts. Takeover and Shootout series seem to be most reliable.
5 VANILLA FLOWERS PICKED – These can be found growing on the side of trees in Lemoyne, particularly in the Bayou.
