We’re starting in Rhodes for today’s Challenges…
We can get Ducks from Mattock Pond, Cows From Hill Haven Ranch and then go fishing. Let’s get into it…
Distance Travelled on a Coach or Wagon
Start off in Rhodes. Call your wagon if you have one. If not, there are plenty in Rhodes that you can ‘acquire’. Do the rest of the challenges using this and you’ll get the distance.
Duck Hunting
Head up to Mattock Pond. Have your Varmit Rifle ready and as you approach the pond start shooting the ducks. There are plenty here so with some fast shooting you will get all three.
Cows Skinned
Head round to Hill haven Ranch. The paddocks have several cows in them. Shoot and skin three of the cows there.
Succulent Fish Meat
There are Steelhead Trout in the north west corner of Flat Iron Lake. Head over to the lake and use your special lake lure or the special spinner to target them. You can spot them easily enough. Just cast to them and catch what you need. Break them down to get the meat then head back to Hill Haven Ranch and use the fire to season and cook the meat.
On Call and NPC’s Grappled
Go on call and complete a mission. You can grapple enemies whilst doing the mission or you can use the old lone rider trick where you rope a traveler off his horse to turn him into an enemy then grapple him.
Finishing Off
That just leaves the race. Join one and try and finish in the top three. That will do it for today…

COOKED SEASONED SUCCULENT FISH – Succulent fish meat is got from breaking down trout or salmon. Try the channel between the island and the shore South of Scratching post, New Austin for Trout. The pool below Cumberland Falls is a good spot for Salmon. Catch em, break em down, season em up and cook em!
3 COWS SKINNED – Emerald Ranch, The ranch just north of Rhodes, and the ranch just north of the tunnel near Heartlands Oil Fields are all good places for cows. Kill and skin them at night to reduce your chances of attracting the law.
DISTANCE TRAVELLED BY COACH OR WAGON – Get a coach or wagon, your own or a stolen one, and travel the distance required.
3 DUCKS SKINNED – Mattock Pond just North of Rhodes is my go to place for ducks, but they can be found around most water.
GO ON-CALL AND COMPLETE A STORY MISSION – Join and complete a story mission by using the Quick Join menu (left on the D-pad and scroll down). Select ‘Story Mission On-Call’ to start Matchmaking.
3 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES GRAPPLED TO THE GROUND – Antagonise a local and make them turn red on the mini map then grapple them to the ground. Dirty tactics, but simple and gets the job done.
PLACE TOP 3 IN A RACE – Load into a Race Series from the main or quickjoin menu. Try and finish in the top 3. You’ll have to be in the lobby at the beginning of the race for this to count.
