Starting in Lemoyne today folks..
We’re starting in Rhodes for today’s challenges. We’ll head to Braithwaite Manor for free apples and the Burdock Roots. Then we can get the bulls and the venison. Let’s Get into it…
Braithwaite Manor
Rhodes is the nearest Fast Travel travel post if you are looking for a starting point. Head to the barn next to the ‘B’ in Braithwaite on the map. There are free apples on the floor. Pick them up and then go into your satchel and eat them.
There are burdock roots by the lake to the south west of the barn. Use eagle eye and you will spot them. They are just by the shore on the little outcrop of land below the shacks.
Horse Appearance, Bulls and Venison
There is a bull at Hill Haven Ranch. Shoot and Skin him then set a marker for Carmody Dell. It’s just to the north east of Heartland Oil Fields. Ride over there hunting deer to get venison if you need it. Stop off at the stable near Dewberry Creek to change your horse appearance. Once at Carmody Dell, check the paddock behind the barn for another bull. Skin him, then use the campfire here to season and cook the venison.
Finishing off
Pose up and complete the bird shooting contest then either find a hideout, complete the story mission ‘Kill them, each and every last one of them’ or the legendary bounty mission where you capture Beau to get the Maxim gun kills. That will do it for today…

1 BIRD SHOOTING CONTEST COMPLETED – Bird shooting contests can be triggered by a posse leader in the Posse Vs Menu. Join a Posse and have the leader start the contest.
2 BULLS SKINNED – The best place to find bulls is either at the farm North of Heartlands oil field or the farm East of Mattock Pond. Kill em and skin em to get the gold!
5 BURDOCK ROOTS PICKED – Burdock roots can be found by the banks of most northern rivers and lakes. The banks of the Dakota on the stretch just south of Valentine is a good spot to pick up all 5 for the challenge
3 COOKED SEASONED VENISON – Deer give Venison when skinned. Pronghorns and White Tails are fairly common all over the map. Just find em, shoot em, skin em and head over to a fire to season them up and cook. If your struggling to find them, try in The Heartlands and or New Austin
5 FRESH PRODUCE EATEN – Head to a store and buy 5 Apples (40 cents each). You can get free apples outside the large building left of the ‘B’ in Braithwaite Manor They are stored in your satchel and you have to open it up to eat them.
1 HORSE APPEARANCE UPDATED – Head to a stables and change the appearance of your horse by changing the tail or main for example
3 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED WITH A MAXIM GUN – Maxim guns are the big machine guns. Hideouts like the one at Cumberland falls have them. Use the gun to kill the bandits
