Starting in New Austin today folks..
We’re starting in Thieves Landing for today’s challenges. Pick the English Mace, do the Shaky mission then get to some fishing. Let’s Get into it…
English Mace
Start in either MacFarlane’s Ranch or Blackwater if you need a Fast Travel post. Head to Thieves Landing. There are several patches of English Mace around the words ‘Thieves Landing’ on the map. Check next to the ‘L’ and under the ‘L’ of Landing. That should get you all five plants.
Shaky Mission
Shaky is one of the strangers. He is usually in Thieves Landing but is sometimes in Cholla Springs west of Armadillo or Gaptooth Ridge by the river. Find him, visit him and speak with him. Accept and complete the mission he gives you.
NPC Stealth Kills
You can kill Del Lobos in Thieves Landing for this one. I hide on the roof and take out the guys on the dock with my bow. Just make sure they are gang members for it to count. The Rich Pickings Telegram mission is also good for stealth kills.
Salmon and Toads
Head to Bluewater Marsh. The area near where the railway line forks as it crosses the water is a great spot for toads. Copperhead Landing is good too. Get the toads then head North up the Kamassa and fish for salmon.
Finishing off
All that is left to do now is feed your horse then take a selfie. That will do it for today…

5 ENGLISH MACE PICKED – English Mace grows near the banks of the San Luis River. You can pick it up from Thieves Landing down through New Austin. Above ‘Plainview’ on the map is a good spot.
5 HORSES FED – Most herbs collected can be fed to your horse or you can buy apples, carrots etc from the store. Get some food and feed a horse. You can just feed your own horse 5 times.
5 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED WHILE NOT SEEN – Kill NPCs stealthily. Your Bow & throwing knives are your friend here. Thieves Landing is a good location in free roam. Also the legendary bounty hunter missions or the story mission ‘Where your morals lead you’ is good for stealth kills
1 SELF PORTRAIT TAKEN – Get one of your cameras out and press the Self Portrait button. Take the picture. Easy Gold! You can use the standard camera.
1 SHAKY MISSIONS COMPLETED – Shaky is one of the strangers who gives out free roam missions. You can find him at Thieves Landing. Accept and finish the mission to complete the challenge.
3 SOCKEYE SALMON CAUGHT – Northern, fast flowing rivers are the best place to get Salmon. Lures or special spinner work best, food bait is not so good. The pool below Cumberland Falls is an excellent spot.
2 WESTERN TOADS COLLECTED – Western toads can be found on the banks of lakes, rivers and in the wetlands of Lemoyne. Bluewater Marsh is a great spot for them
