Starting in New Austin today folks..

We have a lot of travelling to do for today’s challenges. We’ll start in New Austin for the Blackcurrents and Shaky, then end up in Lemoyne for the Oleander Sage. Let’s Get into it…

Blackcurrants

Start in Tumbleweed. Ride south out of the town and head for the area just above the large ‘E’ in New Austin on the map. There are three patches of Blackcurrants there. They are usually in groups of two so that should be enough to get you all five plants.

Shaky Mission

Shaky is one of the strangers. He can be found at Thieves Landing, Cholla Springs or on the banks of the San Luis River. Open your map and find him. Ride over to him and talk with him. Accept and finish the mission he gives you. .

Pelicans Plucked

If you are in Thieves Landing to speak with Shaky, then check the shoreline from here up to Quaker’s Cove for Pelicans. We need to travel to Lemoyne for the Oleander Sage so don’t worry if you can’t find one here. There are some on the banks of Flat Iron lake, from Clemens Cove south towards Braithwaite Manor. Shoot and pluck two to complete the challenge.

Smallmouth Bass

Smallmouth Bass can be found in the same area. I tend to get them in the water between the largest island and the lake shore. I use Crickets on the bobber to target them.

Oleander Sage

Head to the banks of the Kammassa River, near Ringneck Creek. On the east bank of the river, where the railway line crossed there are loads of Oleander Sage. Make sure you have space in your satchel to pick them as you won’t want to eat this poisonous plant.

Finishing off

Now all that’s left to do is get the player photograph and the headshot kills in a Showdown. That will do it for today…

5 BLACKCURRANTS PICKED – Blackcurrants can be picked from tall thin bushes in the deserts between Tumbleweed and Benedict Point. If you’re struggling then try just to the east of the ‘E’ in ‘New Austin’ on the map

5 OLEANDER SAGE PICKED – Oleander Sage grows on the river banks of Bayou NWA in Lemoyne. Try the banks of the Kamassa river if your struggling

1 OTHER PLAYERS PHOTOGRAPHED – Get your camera out and take a snap of another player. If you see someone approach you with a camera, be sure to strike a pose!

2 PELICANS PLUCKED – Pelicans can be found on the East and West banks of Flat Iron Lake and around the coast of Saint Denis. You may have some look in Bayou NWA as well. My go to spot is the burnt out shack on the coast near where the train line forks North of Saint Denis

3 PLAYER HEADSHOT KILLS IN SHOWDOWNS – Kill other players with headshots. Takeover and Shootout series seem to register the kills the best and remember, you need to be in the lobby before the match starts for the kills to count

1 SHAKY MISSIONS COMPLETED – Shaky is one of the strangers who gives out free roam missions. You can find him at Thieves Landing. Accept and finish the mission to complete the challenge.

3 SMALLMOUTH BASS CAUGHT – The cove on Flat Iron lake near the islands west of Rhodes is my go to spot. Crickets are the best bait but they will take worms.
