Starting in West Elizabeth today folks..
We’re starting in Blackwater today folks. We visit the stables then go Duck hunting and fishing before stealing a boat. Let’s Get into it…
Horse Tack Updated
Start in Blackwater. Head over to the stables and select one of your horses. You only need to enter the saddle menu to complete the challenge. You don’t actually have to change anything if you don’t want to. Back out of the menu and leave the stable..
Duck Hunting and Fishing
Check you have some bread or corn before leaving town. If you need some, visit the store. Head to the Upper Montana River. The islands near the lake here, or the islands just under Bard’s Crossing on the Dakota are good duck hunting spots. Shoot and skin three of them. These are good fishing spots too. Use bread or corn as bait on the bobber and catch five fish.
Boat or Canoe
Where the Dakota meets Flat Iron Lake is a great spot to get a boat. The entire shoreline here is good. Keep an eye out for a boat, shoot the occupant and then row the boat the distance needed.
Finishing off
Head up to Flat Neck Station and talk with The Boy. Accept and complete a mission from him. Hideouts are good for Maxim gun kills, so are the story missions “Kill them, each and every one” or if you have low honor “Kerosene, Tar and Greed”. Whilst you’re doing the missions, eat five cooked meats. That will do it for today…

DISTANCE ROWED A BOAT OR CANOE – Find a Rowboat or a Canoe and travel the required distance. The area between the East bank of Flat Iron Lake and the islands is a reliable place to find a boat.
3 DUCKS SKINNED – Mattock Pond just North of Rhodes is my go to place for ducks, but they can be found around most water.
5 FISH CAUGHT WITH FOOD – Catch fish using food such as cheese, corn or bread
1 HORSE TACK UPDATED – Head over to the stables and change an item of Horse Tack. If you have already upgraded your Tack, just switch it out and back again. Easy Gold!
5 MEATS EATEN – Meat from any animal or bird counts for this. If you already have some on you, then eat it. If not, head over to a camp fire and cook up some meat!
3 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED WITH A MAXIM GUN – Maxim guns are the big machine guns. Hideouts like the one at Cumberland falls have them. Use the gun to kill the bandits
1 THE BOY MISSIONS COMPLETED – The Boy is one of the strangers. He can be found at Flatneck Station. Ride up to him, accept and complete the mission he gives you.
