Starting in Camp today folks..
We’ll start in Camp for the challenges today. We can change our camp theme then get Muskrats and Carrots. Let’s get into it…
Camp Theme Changed
Load into your camp from the main menu and change your camp theme by using Wilderness Outfitters. That’s the bit where Cripps sits next to the main wagon in camp. Switch to a different theme. Theme’s you have already purchased count towards the challenge.
Muskrats and Wild Carrots
Muskrats and Wild Carrots are literally everywhere. If you want to get both at once then fast travel to Blackwater and ride up to where it says Upper Montanna River near Flat Iron Lake on the map. There are wild carrots on the ‘U’ of the word upper and then on the first and second ‘N’s in the word Montana. There are Muskrats on the riverbank here too.
Finishing off
Join a Posse and find a boat, jump on a moving wagon from your horse then head into a Shootout with your Revolver.. That’ll do it for today…

2 AMERICAN MUSKRATS SKINNED – Muskrats can be found along the shores of lakes and rivers in New Austin, West Elizabeth, Lemoyne and New Hanover
1 CAMP THEMES UPDATED – Head to camp and talk to Cripps at the Wilderness Outfitters. Change your camp theme. If you have already updated it, you can switch between purchased themes and it will count.
DISTANCE TRAVELED IN A BOAT WITH A POSSE MEMBER – Find a boat. The little canoe boats hold 2 players. Flat Iron Lake between Rhodes and the islands is a good place to get one. Get you and a posse member into the boat and travel the distance.
FINISH SHOWDOWN IN SHOOTOUT SERIES – Load into a Shootout series PvP match*from either the main or quick join menu. You’ll probably have to go lobby to lobby on this to get it to register.
JUMPED FROM A HORSE TO A MOVING WAGON – RIde alongside an NPC’s wagon and jump from your horse to the wagon. Easy Gold!
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A REVOLVER IN SHOWDOWNS – Pick your favorite revolver and head into a Showdown series. You’ll need to be in the lobby before the match starts for the kills to count and remember, pistols and revolvers are different!
5 WILD CARROTS PICKED – Wild Carrots can be found all over the map. If you are really struggling to find them, all 5 can be found just south of Blackwater between the road and the lake.
