Starting in West Elizabeth today folks..
Blackwater to be precise. Visit a shop then head south out of Blackwater The lake is an obvious spot for fishing. The area next to the lake has a few patches of Wild Carrots. Pick what you need then head down to Thieves Landing to talk to Shaky. Complete the mission he gives you then head to Macfarlane’s Ranch. There is supposed to be cows here but I never see them. If you don’t either, then use the fast travel post to travel to Emerald Ranch. Get the three Cows from here. Wait for nightfall to avoid detection and you should manage to get all three. The Maxim Gun challenge can either be done in a story mission or a hideout. Several hideouts have maxim guns but it’s pot luck if they spawn. The mission “kill them all, every last one of them”, the one in the armour has a maxim gun you can use so just replay this mission from the menu. Then it’s just the Free Roam event. 3 COWS SKINNED – Emerald Ranch, The ranch just north of Rhodes, and the ranch just north of the tunnel near Heartlands Oil Fields are all good places for cows. Kill and skin them at night to reduce your chances of attracting the law.
5 FISH CAUGHT WITH A LURE – Head to your favorite fishing spot, equip a lure or spinner and catch 5 fish. If you don’t have any spinners or lures, head to Legras and buy one from the bait shop. Check your lockbox too as they are often given as rewards.
3 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED WITH A MAXIM GUN – Maxim guns are the big machine guns. Hideouts like the one at Cumberland falls have them. Use the gun to kill the bandits
PLACE TOP 3 WITH A SCORE IN FREE ROAM EVENTS – Free roam events occur every 45mins. make sure you’re in a free roam lobby when one is due to start to be invited. Join an event, play the objective to score points and try to finish in the top 3. Bit of a time gate on this challenge.
1 SHAKY MISSIONS COMPLETED – Shaky is one of the strangers who gives out free roam missions. You can find him at Thieves Landing. Accept and finish the mission to complete the challenge.
VISITED A SHOP IN BLACKWATER – Simply head over to Blackwater in West Elizabeth and go to one of the shops or the butchers. Easy Gold!
5 WILD CARROTS PICKED – Wild Carrots can be found all over the map. If you are really struggling to find them, all 5 can be found just south of Blackwater between the road and the lake.
