Daily Guide

We will start in New Hanover today folks…

Valentine is a good place to start. We have a train, can get beef and there is good pike fishing nearby. Let’s get into it…

Distance Driven a Train

Start off at Valentine station. If the train is there when you load in, take advantage of your luck and get on and drive it round towards Emerald ranch. Once you get the distance, you can hop off and get beef from either the Cows at Emerald Ranch or the herd of Bison in the Heartlands.

Defend a Campsite

There are three campsites that can spawn in the area. One is near Citadel Rock, another is in the south of the Heartlands near the border with Lemoyne and the third is to the east of Emerald Ranch. It’s pot luck if they spawn or not so just check the spots as you ride past.

Cooked Prime Beef

Head back into Valentine and use the campfire near the butcher to season and cook the prime beef you got earlier.

Fishing

Head over to Cattail Pond. The pond is full of Pike. Get your rod out and tie on a lure then catch one. Head back towards Valentine.

Finishing Off

Load your Repeater with explosive ammo and head into a Showdown. Get the kills with the explosive ammo and the repeater. That’ll do it for today…

Good Luck out there!

Quick Guides

1 CAMP THEMES UPDATED – Head to camp and talk to Cripps at the Wilderness Outfitters. Change your camp theme. If you have already updated it, you can switch between purchased themes and it will count.

3 COOKED SEASONED PRIME BEEF – Prime Beef can be got from Bison or Cows. Bison can be found in the Great Plains of West Elizabeth or the Heartlands of New Hanover. Cows can be found at several ranches around the states such as the one near Mattock Pond in Scarlet Meadows or Emerald Ranch.

1 DEFEND A CAMPSITE – Dynamic events happen all over the map. Look for smoke and listen for gunshots. If you see some travellers (wagons circled) being attacked by bandits, go and save them! South of Tumbleweed and the grasslands west of Blackwater are my go to spots for these.

DISTANCE DRIVEN A TRAIN – Find a train, drive it. If you can get a train this is an easy one. The Trolly in Saint Denis won’t work for this one as you can’t drive it. Macfarlane’s Ranch is a good spot to find a train.

1 FISH CAUGHT WEIGHING AT LEAST 5 lbs – Target larger fish such as Pike or Muskies. Medium fish like Steelhead Trout or Largemouth Bass are typically 4 lbs – 6 lbs so you try your luck with them.

3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A REPEATER IN SHOWDOWNS – Join a showdown through either the main or quick join menus. Equip your repeater and get kills with it. Takedown and Shootout series work best and you need to be in the lobby before the match starts for the kills to count

3 PLAYER KILLS WITH EXPLOSIVES IN SHOWDOWNS – Load into a Showdown and kill players with dynamite. It will only count if you are in the lobby before the match starts. Takeover and Shootout series seem to be most reliable.
