Starting in West Elizabeth today folks..

Blackwater again today. There are Prairie Poppies on the southern edge of town, between the lake and the last houses as you leave town. There are also a couple of campfires in the yards of those houses. Pick five of the Prairie Poppies then use the campfires to craft a tonic.

Head back into Blackwater to the fast travel post. Check your map for the location of Hamish Sinclair. He will be either next to O’Creagh’s Run or Cottora Springs. Fast Travel to the nearest post. There is Perch fishing near both of these spots. O’Creagh’s Run has perch and so does the northern stretches of the Dakota River. Catch the five perch before speaking to Hamish.

Complete the mission that Hamish gives you, if there are any NPC’s to kill in the mission, try and get them from long range. If you don’t manage to get all five of them in the mission, I find Revenue agents and a sniper rifle the best way of completing that challenge.

All that is left to do then is load up your revolvers with explosive ammo and wait for a free roam event. They are going to be chaotic today. It should be a fun day.

CRAFT A TONIC – Tonics can be crafted at camp fires. Potent health care needs 1x Ginseng and 1xYarrow. Potent Snake oil only needs 1x Indian Tobacco. Collect what you need, head to a fire and craft the tonic

1 HAMISH SINCLAIR MISSIONS COMPLETED – This stranger mission can be triggered by visiting Hamish Sinclair. Try the shack next to O’creaghs’ Run or the camp at Cotorra Springs. Completing the mission completes the challenge.

5 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED AT LONG RANGE – Revenue Agents, Trader Resupply NPCs and Del Lobos are good for this. Pick a spot at range and pick them off. A scoped rifle will help. You can tell if they count as distance kills as an XP award notification pops up.

5 PERCH CAUGHT – Perch can be caught in most Northern lakes and rivers. Bread is the best bait and sunny weather. The Dakota River near Cumberland Forest is a good stretch. So is Roanoke Valley.

3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A REVOLVER IN FREE ROAM EVENTS – Free roam events happen every 45mins. Make sure you are in a free roam lobby when one is due to start to be invited. Join the event and kill 3 players with your revolver. Remember, pistols and revolvers are different!

3 PLAYER KILLS WITH EXPLOSIVES IN FREE ROAM EVENTS – Free Roam Events happen every 45 mins. Make sure you are in a free roam lobby when one is due to start to be invited. Once in the event, kill players with dynamite. Dynamite arrows count too if you have them.

5 PRAIRIE POPPIES PICKED – Prairie Poppies can be found in The Great Plains. Between the House and Flat Iron Lake as you head south out of Blackwater is my go to spot.
