Starting in West Elizabeth today folks…
We’re starting in Blackwater for today’s Daily Challenges. We’ll pick the Golden Currents, grab the Burdock Roots then get some pork for cooking. Let’s get into it…
Golden Currents
Start in Blackwater. Look on the map at the word Blackwater. There are Golden Currents on the ‘L’, between the ‘C’ and the ‘K’ and on the ‘T’. Pick what you need to complete the challenge.
Burdock Roots
Head north to the Upper Montana River and cross the river then head west to the point near the lake. There are several Burdock Roots along the point there. Again, pick the five plants needed to complete the challenge.
Cooked Pork
There is a pig pen next to Flatneck Station. Cross over Bard’s Crossing and then head up to the Station. Kill and skin the pigs to get the pork. Head west to the farmstead and use the campfire there to season and cook the pork.
Racoons
Racoons are more common after nightfall. There are plenty of them to be found between Flatneck Station and Citadel Rock. Find two, shoot them and skin them to complete the challenge.
Finishing Off
Start your favorite mission and loot the enemies. Posse up and get the biggest fishing contest completed then grab your pistols. Load into a Showdown and and get the pistol kills. That’ll do it for today…

1 BIGGEST FISH CONTEST COMPLETED – Biggest Fish Contests can be accessed via the Posse Vs menu. Join a Posse of more than one and have the leader start the contest. Play it out to the end to get this one
5 BURDOCK ROOTS PICKED – Burdock roots can be found by the banks of most northern rivers and lakes. The banks of the Dakota on the stretch just south of Valentine is a good spot to pick up all 5 for the challenge
3 COOKED SEASONED PORK – Pork can be got from Pigs and Boar. Both are common in the wild all over the map, especially at night. Boar can often be found in Bluewater Marsh & Scarlett meadows. For Pigs try Cholla Springs. Then head to a fire, season up that pork and cook it up.
5 GOLDEN CURRENTS PICKED – The best place to find Golden Currents is Manito Glade up North of Annesburg. Between the Hermit’s shack and the railroad there are plants there.
20 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES LOOTED – Kill non-player enemies and loot them. Story mission enemies & resupply mission enemies are a good one for this. If in free roam, head to Thieves Landing and have fun
2 NORTH AMERICAN RACCOONS SKINNED – Raccoons can be found across Lemoyne, New Hanover and West Elizabeth. They are more common at night.
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A PISTOL IN SHOWDOWNS – Load up a showdown, use your pistols to kill three players. Just remember, Revolvers don’t count as pistols.
