Starting in New Austin today folks..
We’re starting in Armadillo for today’s challenges. Most of today’s challenges can be done anywhere, but Banded Gila Monsters are only found in New Austin. Let’s Get into it…
Banded Gila Monster Hunting
Start off in Armadillo head west out of town. The area around the words Cholla Spring on the map is a great place to search for Gila Monsters. Find one, shoot it and skin it to complete the challenge.
That area is also a good area for hunting in general. Keep an eye out for three star animals and shoot and skin them until you have five perfect pelts.
Perfect Pelts Sold
Head either to the butcher in Tumbleweed or to Gus and sell the five perfect pelts collected earlier. Donating them to Cripps does not count for this challenge.
Finishing off
The rest of the challenges can be completed anywhere. Just playing the game will get you the distance travelled. Jump on a moving wagon and the owner of the wagon will not be too happy about it. Use dead eye and dispatch him. Then do the same to four other NPCs, be that lone travellers or enemies in missions. Snap a picture of your horse then head into a Takeover Showdown. That will do it for today…

5 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED WHILE IN DEAD EYE – Enemy NPCs can be found in story missions, dynamic events, and resupply missions. Thieves Landing NPCs also count as Non-player enemies. Activate dead eye and kill 5 of them.
5 PERFECT PELTS SOLD – Kill 5 perfect animals and skin them. Take your pelts to the butcher and sell them. Donations to Cripps will not count.
1 PHOTOGRAPH YOUR HORSE – Get your camera (the original works fine) out and take a snap of your equine companion. You may have to be a few steps back and have the horse centre frame to get it to register.
PLACE TOP 3 IN TAKEOVER SHOWDOWN – Takeovers are a group of PvP game modes and can be accessed through the main or quick join menus. Load into the series and try and place in the top 3
