Starting in West Elizabeth today folks..
We’re starting at Manzanita Post for today’s challenges. There are Blackberries and Bass nearby. Then we will catch a train to New Austin before visiting Hamish. Let’s Get into it…
Blackberries Picked
Start at Manzanita Post. Go round the back of the cabin near the outhouse, there is a Blackberry bush there, sometimes two. Get those then head to the first and second ‘A’ in the word Manzanita on the map. There are more bushes here. That should be enough to get all five for the challenge.
Largemouth Bass Fishing
Head over to Aurora basin. There are Largemouth Bass in the basin itself and the Upper Montana River. Use Crayfish as bait if you have some but they will take a spinner. Catch three of them then ride to MacFarlane’s Ranch.
Train to New Austin
Hop on the train at MacFarlane’s ranch and ride it into New Austin. Hop off once you get the distance then ride to Tumbleweed and visit one of the shops there.
Hamish Sinclaire
Check you map for Hamish. He will be either at O’Creaghs Run or Catorra Springs. Fast travel from Tumbleweed to the nearest spot to him, ride over and speak with him. Complete the mission he gives you.
Finishing off
Get the animal knife kills then grab your revolvers and head into a Showdown. That will do it for today…

5 ANIMALS KILLED WITH A KNIFE – You can mercy kill wounded animals with your knife, rope them and kill them with your knife, or just find small, slow animals, equip your knife and use melee to kill them. Toads, Turkeys and Chickens are good targets.
5 BLACKBERRIES PICKED – West and South West of Valentine is my go to spot for Blackberries. There are 2 bushes near the lone building under the word ‘Valentine’ on the map. One under and one above the N and one above the T.
DISTANCE TRAVELLED BY TRAIN – Find a train, hop on and go for a ride. No need to drive for this one so the trolly in Saint Dennis counts, although it’s a slow way to do it. Macfarlanes Ranch is usually a reliable spawn point for a train
1 HAMISH SINCLAIR MISSIONS COMPLETED – This stranger mission can be triggered by visiting Hamish Sinclair. Try the shack next to O’creaghs’ Run or the camp at Cotorra Springs. Completing the mission completes the challenge.
3 LARGEMOUTH BASS CAUGHT – Largemouth Bass can be found in the southern rivers and lakes. Crayfish is the best bait but they will take the special spinner. My go to spot is where the river meets Flat Iron lake near Bard’s Crossing
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A REVOLVER IN SHOWDOWNS – Pick your favorite revolver and head into a Showdown series. You’ll need to be in the lobby before the match starts for the kills to count and remember, pistols and revolvers are different!
VISITED A SHOP IN TUMBLEWEED – Simply head down to Tumbleweed in New Austin and go to one of the shops or the butchers. Easy Gold!
