Starting in New Hanover today folks..
We’ll start in Valentine for the challenges today. We can get almost everything from Cumberland Forest. Let’s get into it…
Cumberland Forest
Start in Valentine. Ride up to Cumberland Forest. In the forest you can find foxes, deer for venison and Ram’s Head. For the Ram’s Head, check below the ‘C’ of the word Cumberland on the map. There is another on the ‘M’. There are Foxes and Deer all over the forest. Just hunt for them.
Cooked Season Venison
Ride back to town and use the campfire opposite the butcher to cook the venison. If you need to grab some gun oil then collect some whilst you are in town.
NPC’s killed with Stealth
The Telegraph mission Rich Pickings is the easiest way to get these. Start the mission and stealthily take out the guards.
Finishing off
Posse up and complete the biggest fish contest. Clean your weapons and head into a Showdown to get the kills from the hip.. That will do it for today…

1 BIGGEST FISH CONTEST COMPLETED – Biggest Fish Contests can be accessed via the Posse Vs menu. Join a Posse of more than one and have the leader start the contest. Play it out to the end to get this one
3 COOKED SEASONED VENISON – Deer give Venison when skinned. Pronghorns and White Tails are fairly common all over the map. Just find em, shoot em, skin em and head over to a fire to season them up and cook. If your struggling to find them, try in The Heartlands and or New Austin
2 FOXES SKINNED – Foxes can be found at several locations. A good area to check is between Emerald Ranch and Annesburg. Around Thieves Landing or Bolger Glade are also good spots. Find em, shoot em and skin em
5 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED WHILE NOT SEEN – Kill NPCs stealthily. Your Bow & throwing knives are your friend here. Thieves Landing is a good location in free roam. Also the legendary bounty hunter missions or the story mission ‘Where your morals lead you’ is good for stealth kills
PLAYER KILLS FROM THE HIP IN SHOWDOWNS – Kill a player with a firearm without aiming down the sights. Paint it black and a shotgun make this an easy challenge if you can overcome that muscle memory!
5 RAM’s HEAD PICKED – Ram’s head can be found in Cumberland forest. Check along the cliffs to the west of the forest.
3 WEAPONS CLEANED WITH GUN OIL – Gun oil can be purchased in shops or looted from various places and NPCs. Highlight a dirty weapon in the weapon wheel and click the right thumbstick in. Select clean weapon.
