Starting in New Austin today folks..

We’ll be starting in New Austin for today’s challenges, then heading pretty much all the way across the map. Blackcurrants are in New Austin, Blackwater for the shop visit, then Lemoyne for the Chanterelle. Let’s get into it…

Armadillo Blackcurrants

Start off in Armadillo. Head north west out of town towards Twin Rocks. Just above the last ‘S’ in Cholla Springs is a patch of blackcurrants. There is another patch further up, near the path. There are three more patches a little further west so you should be able to get all five plants from here.

Visit a Shop in Blackwater

Head back to Armadillo and fast travel to Blackwater. If you don’t have any food for bait, now is a good time to pick some up. If you have some just swing by the butcher to get the shop visit challenge completed.

Fish Caught with Food

This challenge can be completed anywhere, but the Blackwater Dock is as good a place as any, and we’re here already so why not? Just use any food (bread, corn, cheese etc) as bait on your bobber and catch five fish.

Customise a Weapon and Chanterelle

Fast Travel to Rhodes. Visit the Gunsmith in town and customise one of your weapons. Changing the wrap colour is usually free if you already have them and counts towards the challenge.

The ‘E’ in the word Rhodes on the map has a patch of Chanterelle. There is another patch at the second last ‘T’ in Scarlett meadows. If that’s not enough, there is another patch just to the east of the words MAttock pond on the map. That should be enough to get all five plants.

Finishing off

That just leaves the Posse Races and the player kills from cover in Showdowns. Posse up and have the leader start the races, then jump into a SHowdown and focus on getting kills from cover. That will do it for today …
